Winnetka Heights Holiday Home Tour this Saturday

Dec 01, 2010 No Comments by

The Winnetka Heights Neighborhood Association holds its fourth annual Holiday Home Tour this Saturday, December 4th from noon to 7pm. There will be five homes spotlighted this year, along with events. Here’s more details from the site:

This year’s tour event will feature children’s craft activities, an adoption fair sponsored by Paws in the City and for the first time, an exhibit by nearly 20 local Oak Cliff artists. Ranging from photographers, painters and craftsmen, each artist was selected by Candace Bossay, exhibit chair, not only for their talent but for their commitment to the local community. “I’m thrilled with the response we’ve had from local artists and the opportunity for us to show the rest of the city what we all know. The Cliff has some amazing artists.”

Tickets for the tour are available on the day of the tour at Turner House, 401 N. Rosemont Avenue.
Tickets are $12 and are required for access to the homes but not for the other tour events at Turner House. Event begins at Noon, December 4th and continues until 7 PM. Proceeds of the tour help the Winnetka Heights Neighborhood Association (a 501 (C) (3) organization) with their goals of fostering a safer, more attractive and a better place to live.
