The 2nd annual Blues, Bandits and BBQ event is scheduled for Saturday, October 22nd and the registration for the BBQ teams is now open! The event will be different from last year in several ways:
- The location for this year’s event will be at Lake Cliff Park. We think this will give us all more room to spread out and hopefully handle a larger crowd.
- While we loved the experiment of grass-fed/ sustainably raised meat last year, we’re going to try something different this year. Instead of providing each team with meat like last year, all teams will bring their own meat this year.
So – if you fancy yourself a BBQ expert, or you’re just looking for an opportunity to gather with friends and neighbors for a really fun weekend – sign up as a team in this years Blues, Bandits and BBQ competition.
Entry is $100. Categories include brisket, ribs, chicken, sausage and pulled pork.
Teams will set up and begin cooking Friday night and the competition, tasting and live music is Saturday.
