Calling All BBQ Teams – City of Dallas BBQ Championship!
With over $1000 in prize money and more than 30 teams expected to compete, the 3rd Annual Blues, Bandits and BBQ festival on Saturday, October 27th will act as the unofficial City of Dallas BBQ championship. Team entries are being accepted between now and Friday, September 28th at 5:00pm and are open to all who feel they can compete.
Teams will compete in 5 categories, including brisket, pulled pork, pork ribs, chicken and sausage as well as a People’s Choice Award.
To enter, teams must fill out this form and pay the $100 entry fee. Fee helps to cover the cost for the the permitting for the event, and each team will also be provided a 10′ x 10′ tent and a 6′ table as well as four BBQ tasting wrist bands (an $80 value).
Teams will be expected to do all cooking on-site (715 W Davis St., Dallas, TX 75208) at the event. Arrival to the event must occur between 4pm and 7pm on Friday, October 26, 2012.
