Bastille on Bishop – Big Mussels!

The line-up for the 1st Annual Bastille on Bishop Mussel Competition has been finalized, and we couldn’t be more excited to announce the nine chefs who will be participating.

There will be a total of three rounds of cooking. Round One will feature all 9 chefs. In Round Two, the judges will cut the competition down to 6 finalists.  Round Three will be the final round with the 3 remaining chefs battling to see who is the Mussel Champ of 1st Annual Bastille on Bishop.

Come join the fun this Wednesday night at 7pm – the Mussel competition will start at 8pm and you WILL be able to buy small plates of mussels from the chefs for $5!

    That event was a bit rough around the edges. Next year, they should consider having more than one ticket booth. I also wanted to club some of those inconsiderate knuckleheads that decided to hold their conversations in the middle of the sidewalks and barely move to allow others to pass.

    @Butterbean – thanks for the feedback! We completely agree about multiple ticket sales locations for next year. Our estimated attendance for this event was 500, and we were thrilled when over 1500 Francophiles showed up to enjoy the festivities. You can be sure that next year we’ll be ready to make this event even better!
