2019 Mardi Gras oak cliff parade lineup
Date: Sunday, March 3, 2019
UPDATE: Bundle up and stay warm. Conditions call for a chilly parade. Please dress prepared for the weather.
Who’s ready for some fun?! Line up begins at 2 p.m., along 7th and 8th St. The parade will begin promptly at 4 p.m., and takes place on West Davis Street; the parade begins near Nova and ends in the heart of Bishop Arts District.
New this year, Bishop Arts District will host a crawfish boil and Zydeco music before and after the parade, wrapping things up at 7:00 p.m.
Friendly reminder: This is a family-friendly parade. No nudity, obscenities, or lewdness will be allowed.
Participants are required to have a minimum of 5 gross of beads per entry. (Trust us--this isn't enough. This is the bare minimum!) Beads can be ordered through wholesale companies online or be purchased in bulk at ABC Party on West Davis Street.
Participants may NOT hand out paper, literature, fliers, push cards, or anything that easily becomes litter. We will have checkpoints at the staging area.
Dallas open container laws are in effect, both for participants and spectators.
Dallas traffic laws do apply. All motorized vehicles and floats must show proof of insurance and a valid driver's license at line up.
No 18-wheelers are allowed.
All float riders must have a safety belt attaching them to the vehicle.
